My Story

A camera in my hand is like Thor and his hammer.
Without it I feel powerless.

I began photographing anything and everything at 12 years old. The one thing I photographed most? myself. Sounds vein but I was the only model I had available. Before I knew tripods were a thing I piled books on books and placed my camera at the top, setting the self timer.

Growing up the reoccurring thought was “I need a job that makes me money” I never studied photography. Countless people told me not to do it. I listened to them and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management. I thought “this will make me money and I can travel the world” but I was unhappy. No matter what I did that wasn’t photography I was unhappy.
